Aims & Objectives
Society for Human Rights and Prisoners Aid (SHARP) will strive to establish harmony, solidarity and legal / human rights awareness among the people through the means of education, seminars, lectures, symposium, training, workshops, mass media and print media.
SHARP is primarily based upon the passion of humanism, it will help needy people in moral, legal and social terms for the solution of their legitimate problems and foster among them passionate and active humanism.
Our aims and objectives are as follows:
Ø To create awareness about human rights
Ø To eradicate injustice through legal empowerment of general masses
Ø To promote child protection and juvenile justice
Ø To support formal and informal access to justice through networking with legal fraternity and provision of legal assistance
Ø To promote Safe migration to reduce human trafficking
Ø To promote positive social behaviour by encouraging health, hygiene and WASH education
Ø To promote the spirit of volunteerism through meaning youth participation
Ø To promote adherence and effective implementation of CEDAW
Ø To develop human capital through formal and informal education, skill development and vocational training
Ø To strengthen the emergency response through DRR and effective DRM
